When Windsong Farm Golf Club decided to expand its golf program with a second 18-hole layout, it turned to Duininck Golf to construct the new North Course. Designed by architect John Fought, the Golden Age–inspired layout was created to complement the club’s existing South Course across approximately 125 acres.
Construction began in spring 2023 and continued through spring 2025. The schedule tightened before work even started. Final approvals from the city and watershed authority arrived just one week before construction began, leaving seven months to complete the majority of the course.
The finished product has delivered on its central purpose. The North Course gives members a distinct alternative to the South Course, successfully splitting play between the two layouts. The expansion has also driven broader growth at the club; membership has increased, and Windsong Farm has since renovated its locker rooms and facilities to accommodate the demand.
