When the owners of The Rose set out to create one of the first new golf courses in the Athens, Georgia area in recent memory, they turned to Duininck Golf. The project began on an undeveloped parcel just beyond the University of Georgia. In just over a year, that land was transformed into a finished golf course and private club.
Duininck consolidated the project’s critical scope under one team, spanning earthwork, full golf course construction, and complete irrigation system installation. Working alongside designer Tripp Davis and irrigation consultant Larry Collins, Duininck guided the course from raw site to finished layout.
Opportunities to build a course from the ground up are rare. The Rose stands as the result of rigorous planning and precise execution from the outset.
