Hazeltine National Golf Club engaged Duininck Golf to construct a new short course and putting green as an addition to the club’s existing facilities. The project included ten holes and a putting green across roughly ten acres.
Working in collaboration with architect and PGA Tour veteran Davis Love III, Duininck broke ground in spring 2023 and completed the project by spring 2024.
The timeline was compressed from the start. Final approvals from the club, the city, and the watershed authority arrived shortly before construction began, leaving a narrow window for the work. The project also marked Duininck’s first collaboration with Love’s team. Grading and shaping took place directly in the field rather than from conventional grading plans, requiring close coordination between the two teams throughout construction.
When the course opened, members and guests responded with strong praise, including compliments for the Duininck Golf team on opening day.
